Toto Wolff fala sobre processo de Susie Wolff contra a FIA por investigação de conflito de interesse

Susie Wolff filed a legal complaint against the FIA in French courts regarding an investigation into a conflict of interest that occurred last year. Toto Wolff, the Team Principal of Mercedes, and his wife, who is the Managing Director of the F1 Academy, were being investigated by the FIA for allegedly sharing information. However, they were cleared by the regulatory body after facing significant criticism. Now, Toto Wolff is supporting his wife’s decision to take legal action against the FIA.

Toto Wolff filed a criminal complaint against the FIA in French courts and has shown unwavering support for his wife throughout the process. He criticized the lack of transparency surrounding the situation and emphasized that Susie Wolff is a strong woman who can defend herself. He also stated that his wife has always remained true to her values.

Furthermore, Toto Wolff highlighted the pragmatism shown by Susie Wolff throughout the case. She believes she was harmed by the accusations and wants her side of the story to be heard in court. Toto Wolff praised her strong character and emphasized that no one can stop her from pursuing her own path as the Managing Director of the F1 Academy.

In addition to the investigation involving the Wolffs, Formula 1 has faced other challenges recently. Christian Horner, Team Principal of Red Bull, was accused of inappropriate behavior by a female employee, and FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem was also under investigation for two accusations. However, both Horner and Sulayem were cleared of all charges without public disclosure of details.

Lewis Hamilton expressed his concerns about the current state of the sport and the negative narrative it portrays regarding inclusion. He even criticized Red Bull for suspending the female employee. Toto Wolff shares Hamilton’s sentiments and believes that the lack of transparency around these cases in recent months is not ideal.

It is crucial for Formula 1 and the FIA to ensure that the sport can move forward after the tumultuous last few months. However, Susie Wolff’s legal complaint has opened a new chapter in the closed investigation. So far, neither the regulatory body nor Formula 1 have commented on the case, and it remains to be seen how things will unfold in the coming weeks.
