SU7 Ultra é o superdesportivo elétrico da Xiaomi

Xiaomi continues to strive for records with the SU7 Ultra sedan, and two weeks after announcing that the model became the fastest production electric vehicle at Nürburgring, it has now taken the SU7 Ultra Prototype back to the German track to achieve a new fastest lap around the well-known “Green Hell”.

This time, the prototype completed a lap at Nürburgring Nordschleife in just 6m22.091 seconds, which is 24 seconds faster than its previous lap recorded in 2024, meaning that the SU7 Ultra Prototype is faster than any production car, whether gasoline-powered or not, on the legendary German circuit.

This record was greatly aided by the 1548 hp of power and 1770 Nm of maximum torque, delivered by the three electric motors, which allow the prototype to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds and reach a top speed of 340 km/h.

This particular car is not a production model, but rather a stripped-down race car with a roll cage, which has been modified to enhance performance. It also uses racing slick tires for maximum grip.

However, note that the record achieved by the Xiaomi Ultra SU7 Prototype does not serve to place the Chinese electric vehicle at the top of the fastest lap table, as ahead of it are the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo with a lap in 5m19.546s and the VW ID.R with 6m05.336s
