RAM Denial: Niece Motorsports Commits to Chevrolet Amidst Speculation of Manufacturer Switch

In a shocking turn of events, Niece Motorsports, a prominent NASCAR Truck Series team, has vehemently denied all rumors of switching allegiances from Chevrolet to RAM, declaring their unwavering loyalty to General Motors for the foreseeable future. The team’s bold statement comes amidst speculations of RAM’s return to the National Series and potential partnerships with several racing teams, including Niece Motorsports.

During the recent Cup Series event at Michigan International Speedway, RAM made headlines by announcing its comeback to the racing scene after a 13-year hiatus. While fans eagerly await RAM’s participation in the 2026 Daytona Truck Series race as an engine manufacturer, the brand has remained tight-lipped about its specific collaborators.

Reports have circulated linking RAM to powerhouse teams like GMS Racing, Retta Jones Racing, and Niece Motorsports. The allure of aligning with RAM lies in the promise of enhanced support and cutting-edge technology, particularly the renowned Hemi engines. However, Niece Motorsports has unequivocally shut down any talks of a potential switch, underscoring their enduring partnership with Chevrolet.

In an official statement, Niece Motorsports affirmed their longstanding relationship with General Motors, stating, “Since 2016, Niece Motorsports has proudly been associated with our partners at General Motors representing the Chevrolet brand. We can confirm that any rumors of our team shifting its allegiance to a different manufacturer are baseless and untrue. We look forward to continuing our strength with GM and are proud to wear bowties for years to come.”

Meanwhile, the racing community is abuzz with speculation about RAM’s imminent entry into the Cup Series, with many anticipating a collaboration with Dodge. RAM CEO Tony Kuniskis addressed the rumors surrounding Tony Stewart’s potential return as a Cup Series team owner, hinting at a possible partnership while keeping the suspense alive.

As fans eagerly await developments in the racing world, Tony Stewart, a revered figure in motorsports, has expressed his support for Dodge’s return to the Cup Series but clarified that he has no intentions of owning a NASCAR team again. Stewart, currently excelling in the NHRA Top Fuel category, leads the standings with 771 points, showcasing his prowess on the track.

With the landscape of NASCAR and the racing world evolving, alliances are being forged and futures are being shaped, promising an electrifying journey ahead for teams, drivers, and fans alike.
