Ford is recalling 132,914 Lincoln Aviator crossovers produced between 2020 and 2025 in the U.S. due to issues with the fastening of the C-pillar trims and the window divider bars.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), improper fastening of the trims may cause the parts to detach from the vehicle while driving, increasing the risk of an accident.
It is estimated that about 3.2% of the recalled vehicles have the defect, and Ford received 1,105 warranty claims between June 17, 2020, and April 14, 2025, regarding the detachment of C-pillar trims or window divider bars from the vehicles, the NHTSA reported. However, the American automaker is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the issue.
Owners of affected vehicles are being advised to take their cars to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to repair or replace the affected C-pillar parts and window divider bars.
