Alex Bowman nega rumores de saída da Hendrick Motorsports, citando apoio de seu patrocinador de $12 bilhões e dono da equipe Rick Hendrick.

Alex Bowman has not emerged victorious in a Cup race for over two years. Since 2018, he has been a member of Hendrick Motorsports, taking over the No. 88 Chevy from another driver. After the retirement of a prominent figure in the sport, Bowman took over the No. 48 car. With Hendrick Motorsports being the most successful team in the field, it was always expected that Bowman would achieve numerous victories. However, the Arizona native has yet to meet those expectations.

Throughout his career at HMS, Bowman has only secured seven wins, while his teammates have achieved double-digit wins and two of them have even won championships. Before the 2024 season, many speculated that Bowman’s position was in jeopardy. Despite a two-year winless streak and not qualifying for the playoffs in 2023 due to a back injury, Bowman remains confident that his seat is secure.

After securing a top-5 finish at Bristol, the driver of the No. 48 Chevy addressed the speculation surrounding his position. He revealed that he has received assurances from Rick Hendrick and his sponsor, Ally, that he will not be replaced. Bowman inherited Ally’s sponsorship after Jimmie Johnson’s retirement.

Prior to the race at Bristol, Bowman struggled to deliver strong performances and luck was not on his side. He finished outside the top-15 in three races after a second-place finish at the Daytona 500. However, he believes that his team has the potential to bounce back.

Blake Harris, Alex Bowman’s crew chief, shared a similar sentiment regarding their races. He emphasized that the team has the ability to replicate the success they had in Bristol consistently. To achieve this, they need to perform well on the track and in the pit stops.
