Tesla will halt production of the Model Y and the Cybertruck pickup at the factory in Austin, Texas, starting next June 30.
According to “Business Insider”, the pause, which will last for a week, will allow Tesla to carry out maintenance work on the production lines to implement improvements aimed at increasing production.
During the break, Tesla has already informed that workers will be able to take time off or participate in training and voluntary cleaning activities.
This is not the first time Tesla has halted production at the Austin factory, as in the past 12 months, production has been interrupted twice, first in April due to a decrease in Cybertruck output, and second in May for a worker training initiative.
