BYD mostra o novo Yangwang U7 a subir escadas

At a time when brands like Ferrari are postponing plans to strengthen their electric mobility strategy due to weak demand for 100% electric luxury sports vehicles, BYD has started deliveries in China of the new Yangwang U7, its first fully electric luxury sedan.

Equipped with four electric motors, the Yangwang U7 offers up to 1,287 hp, allowing for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. The four electric motors are powered by a 135.5 kWh battery, which allows the brand to announce a range in the Chinese CLTC cycle of about 720 km.

In addition to being powerful and luxurious, the new Yangwang U7 is equipped with advanced technology, such as BYD’s ADAS “God’s Eye A” system, which incorporates three LiDAR sensors, five radars, 13 high-definition cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars.

The system offers intelligent driving and safety features, including navigation for autonomous driving (NOA) for use in the city and on the highway, as well as automatic parking and much more.

The interior of the new 100% electric model is available in two equipment levels, with four and five seats, and features a 12.8’’ OLED touchscreen in the central console. In addition, the front passenger has a 23.6’’ screen and a similarly sized instrument panel for the driver. Meanwhile, the passengers in the rear seats have two 12.8’’ screens available.
