Opel has confirmed that the Mokka GSE will be produced in series and is already in the final stages of development. Following the debut of the fully electric Mokka GSE Rally, the model will gain a road version, which promises to share many components and features with the rally variant, including high performance.
The rally-inspired details will enhance its uncompromising look. However, it will still take some time until this particularly sporty electric car is available.
Currently, the Mokka GSE is camouflaged and undergoing final testing. It is worth noting that the rally variant boasts 280 hp of power and 345 Nm of maximum torque, along with sophisticated competition technology that makes the Mokka GSE Rally a unique fully electric rally vehicle.
“During the development of the Opel Mokka GSE Rally, it quickly became clear to us that we did not want to reserve this incredible feeling solely for motorsport professionals. Opel customers should also be able to enjoy this particularly powerful, direct, and uncompromising driving experience. That is why we are taking the Mokka GSE into series production”, stated Marc Fetzer, Vice President of Product at Opel.
