Equipped with Honda Mobile Power Pack replaceable batteries and software-defined vehicle (SDV) features, the Fastport eQuad promises to help tackle urban congestion and the growing consumer demand for faster and more frequent deliveries.
The Fastport eQuad prototype combines cutting-edge technology with a modern design, offering an efficient and safe means of transportation, equipped with a unique pedal-assist pedal-by-wire system and easily swappable rechargeable batteries, providing a driving experience that Honda claims is smooth, powerful, and quiet, with zero carbon emissions.
It is worth noting that last-mile deliveries have become one of the most complex and costly segments of the logistics chain in recent years, and Honda aims to revolutionize this sector with this new micromobility vehicle, developed specifically for this purpose, which will serve as a foundation for other mobility products.
In addition, the Fastport will allow Honda to enter a new micromobility market in Europe and North America, with deliveries of the first vehicle expected to begin at the end of 2025.
The prototype of the Honda Fastport eQuad will make its world debut at Eurobike, which will take place from June 25 to 29 in Frankfurt, Germany.
