Honda has announced that it will be present at the “Goodwood Festival of Speed,” which takes place in July in the United Kingdom, to showcase its latest innovations, including the Super EV prototype, a 100% electric city car.
The Super EV concept, which will make its world debut at the event, will complete the approximately 2 km course at Goodwood, in order to demonstrate that a compact electric vehicle from segment A combines both practicality and the “joy of driving” that only Honda can offer.
Although it has not revealed details about this compact prototype, Honda states that the Super EV leverages the sporty driving experience characteristic of compact vehicles to provide a dynamic and thrilling drive.
Aiming for a global launch in the future, this means that the new model will arrive in the European market. Honda has already conducted road tests in the United Kingdom, prior to the Goodwood event, using a test vehicle with an eye-catching purple camouflage.
In addition to the Super EV, Honda will also showcase the Honda 0 SUV prototype at Goodwood, which debuted at CES 2025 held in Las Vegas, USA, in January of this year, and will make its European debut.
The Japanese brand has announced that it will conduct demonstrations of two other models: the prototype of the new Prelude, following the model that was presented at last year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed; and the Civic Type R Ultimate Edition, a model limited to 40 units for the European market that marks the farewell of this sporty version of Honda from Europe.
