At just 18 years old, Kimi Antonelli has secured a spot on the prestigious F1 podium, solidifying his place among the youngest podium finishers in the history of Formula 1 racing. While Antonelli’s achievement is remarkable, he falls slightly behind the likes of Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll in the ranking of the top 10 youngest podium finishers in F1 history.

Max Verstappen, the Dutch prodigy, holds the crown as the youngest driver to grace the F1 podium at the age of 18 years, 7 months, and 15 days. His sensational debut with Red Bull Racing at the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix not only landed him on the podium but also crowned him as the youngest-ever F1 race winner, a feat that stunned the racing world.

Following closely behind Verstappen is Lance Stroll, who clinched his maiden podium at 18 years, 7 months, and 27 days during the 2017 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Stroll’s impressive drive earned him 15 valuable points, although he narrowly missed out on second place in a thrilling drag race to the finish line against Valtteri Bottas.

In the midst of these young talents stands Kimi Antonelli, who at 18 years, 9 months, and 21 days, made his mark on the F1 podium at the 2025 Canadian Grand Prix, securing the third spot among the youngest podium finishers in the sport’s history.

Other notable mentions in the top 10 include Lando Norris, who claimed his first F1 podium at 20 years, 7 months, and 22 days during the delayed 2020 season in Austria. Sebastian Vettel, at 21 years, 2 months, and 11 days, also left a lasting impression with his maiden F1 podium finish at the 2008 Italian Grand Prix, marking a significant milestone for Toro Rosso and Red Bull Racing.

As the next generation of F1 drivers continues to push the boundaries of speed and skill, names like Antonelli, Verstappen, and Stroll are etching their places in the history books of this adrenaline-fueled sport. With each race, these young talents are proving that age is just a number when it comes to competing at the highest level of motorsport.
