28 students from the Skoda Auto School of Mechanical Engineering are building a unique car that honors the brand’s 130 years and its historical connection to cycling. This is the 10th prototype to be developed under the “Student Car” program, an initiative that combines creativity, engineering, and passion for the automotive world.
It is already next week that the students from the Skoda Auto Secondary Professional School will present the tenth “Student Car,” named Skoda L&K 130.
The name of this unique vehicle reflects the 130 years of history of the Czech brand, as well as its impressive color scheme. The combination of red, gold, and black pays tribute to the original Laurin & Klement logo used on the company’s first cars in 1905.
The brand from Mladá Boleslav has already made it known that this year’s “Student Car” is a tribute to the legacy of Václav Laurin and Václav Klement, and that the 130th anniversary of Skoda is present in every detail of the new “Student Car.”
Remember that in each edition of “Student Car,” the Czech brand challenges participants to design and build an original model that adds value to the Skoda range. After the initial sketches, the construction phase follows, where creativity meets technique. The entire process is supported by professionals from Skoda Auto in the areas of Technical Development, Design, and Engineering.
