Charles Leclerc Escapes Disqualification Drama Before Canadian Grand Prix

In a shocking turn of events, the FIA has made a critical announcement regarding Ferrari’s F1 driver, Charles Leclerc, just before the highly anticipated Canadian Grand Prix. The racing world held its breath as the governing body conducted a series of intense tests on the young Monegasque driver’s car, a procedure that could have resulted in his disqualification.

Following a random selection process post-Spanish GP, Leclerc was subjected to meticulous inspections on his Ferrari’s rear brake system to ensure compliance with technical regulations. The stakes were high as any violation, especially related to the brake system’s symmetry, could have led to a devastating disqualification for the talented driver.

Fans of the Prancing Horse team can now breathe a sigh of relief as the FIA confirmed that all components inspected on Leclerc’s car met the required standards. This outcome saved Ferrari from a potential repeat of the humiliating double disqualification earlier in the season at the Chinese Grand Prix, where both Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton were stripped of valuable championship points.

Had Leclerc faced disqualification in Spain, the consequences would have been dire, considering his commendable third-place finish that secured him a coveted spot on the podium. With three podium finishes already in 2025, the 27-year-old driver has been instrumental in propelling Ferrari to second place in the constructors’ championship, surpassing powerhouse teams like Mercedes and Red Bull.

The FIA’s verdict has not only spared Leclerc and Ferrari from a major setback but has also set the stage for an even more intense battle on the track as the season progresses. Stay tuned for more updates as the drama and excitement of the Formula 1 season continue to unfold.
