MG will be at the center of attention at the 2024 edition of the Goodwood Speed Festival, which will take place from July 11 to 14.
The British brand, owned by the Chinese automotive group SAIC, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and for the first time, will be featured in the central space in front of the Goodwood House Palace, where the MG roadster Cyberster will be the centerpiece of the sculptural masterpiece by London artist Gerry Judah.
The Cyberster, which will arrive in the Portuguese market later this year, marks the historic brand’s return to its sporting origins, as it is a 2-seater roadster with modern lines, but clearly inspired by the past, including scissor-opening doors and a canvas top, along with a fully electric powertrain.
In its version with two electric motors, one per axle, the Cyberster is expected to offer two battery options of 64 and 77 kWh, single and dual motor for rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, making it the first MG roadster with traction.
