Robert Kubica Reigns Supreme with Ferrari in Le Mans 24 Hours Practice

In a stunning turn of events at the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours, Robert Kubica’s Ferrari dominates the final practice session, leaving fans and analysts alike in awe. The #83 customer Ferrari, driven by Kubica, showcased its prowess by clocking a remarkable 3m26.523s lap time, outshining the competition under the cover of night.

The Ferrari’s performance marked a significant shift after the disappointing showing of the 499P LMHs during qualifying. Miguel Molina’s #50 Ferrari also made an impression with a speedy 3m27.456s lap, but it was Kubica who stole the show with his exceptional pace.

As the session unfolded, drama ensued on the track when Daniel Schneider’s #23 United Autosports ORECA-Gibson 07 experienced issues on the Mulsanne Straight, triggering a late full-course yellow flag and halting further improvements.

Following Ferrari’s lead, two Cadillacs, the #311 Action Express-run V-Series.R LMDh and the #38 Jota car, demonstrated strong performances, securing spots among the top five fastest cars.

Meanwhile, in the LMP2 class, VDS Panis Racing asserted its dominance midway through the session, with Esteban Masson setting the pace in the #48 ORECA.

In the LMGT3 division, Lexus reclaimed its position at the top, with Jose Maria Lopez piloting the #87 ASP RC F to a leading time, closely followed by Aston Martin and Ferrari.

However, not all teams had a smooth session, as the #63 Mercedes-AMG LMGT3 of Iron Lynx encountered issues early on, adding to the challenges faced by the competitors in the lead-up to Saturday’s race.

With the excitement and intensity building as the final practice concluded, the stage is set for a thrilling and unpredictable Le Mans 24 Hours, where every team will be vying for victory in one of the most prestigious endurance races in the world.
