Toto Wolff brinca com Christian Horner sobre críticas ao sucesso imparável da Red Bull.

Toto Wolff has not forgotten the statements made by Christian Horner ten years ago about implementing rule changes to combat Mercedes’ dominance. Red Bull once again produced a superior chassis this season, positioning them to dominate the championship. This lack of competition has left many disappointed. In response, Wolff took a dig at Horner’s previous comments and expressed his own opinions.

In 2015, Horner asked the FIA to introduce rule changes to reduce Mercedes’ dominance. Wolff made it clear that he did not want to seek regulatory changes just because of one team’s dominance. Despite this, he praised Red Bull’s exceptional performance. Wolff commented that Red Bull’s drivers were leaving their competitors far behind, with a lead of over 40 seconds. He also acknowledged that Milton Keynes was in a league of its own and that the team’s exceptional performance was largely due to their car.

The Ferrari team boss also shared his thoughts on Red Bull’s dominance. Vasseur emphasized that their focus was on developing the Italian team’s car throughout the season. Regardless of their performance against Red Bull, Vasseur stated that their goal was continuous improvement. He added that Ferrari would fight against Red Bull and maintain their current approach. However, Vasseur openly acknowledged that Milton Keynes had a clear advantage over Maranello and would likely secure the championship for the 2024 season.

Only time will tell how rival teams will deal with Red Bull’s dominance. For now, it seems that the team will remain unchallenged under the leadership of Christian Horner throughout the season. It is worth noting that Horner is currently under investigation by the FIA. Milton Keynes is thriving alongside the current world champion, Max Verstappen.
