Liam Lawson’s Rollercoaster Ride at Racing Bulls: A Revealing Insight

In a jaw-dropping revelation, Liam Lawson has bared his soul regarding the tumultuous start to his season, especially since his return to Racing Bulls. The Kiwi driver kicked off the F1 season side by side with the formidable Max Verstappen at Red Bull, only to be shockingly demoted to the sister team after a mere two races. Since his return, Lawson has faced a bumpy road, failing to secure any points in his initial five races back with the Faenza-based squad.

Struggling to find his footing, Lawson watched as his rookie teammate Isack Hadjar consistently dazzled with Q3 appearances and steady points accumulation. Nevertheless, the tide seems to be turning for Lawson as his performance has seen a recent upswing, notably shining in Monaco. There, he not only clinched a spot in Q3 but also secured points with an impressive eighth-place finish.

Acknowledging his imperfections in the 2025 season, the 23-year-old racer remains optimistic about the progress made by both himself and the team. In a candid moment with select media in Barcelona, Lawson admitted, “You’re always learning, and we’re always making mistakes. So I’m not sitting here saying that I’ve done everything perfectly this year, because I haven’t. But, we understand as drivers that it takes a lot for a Formula 1 weekend to run smoothly.”

Emphasizing the intricate nature of Formula 1 races, Lawson highlighted the myriad variables at play and his unwavering focus on giving his all. Despite external factors sometimes working against them, the Monaco Grand Prix provided a glimmer of hope as things finally fell into place for Lawson and his team.

In a riveting turn of events, Ian Parkes and Nick Golding from RacingNews365 host a special podcast episode alongside Sebastien Buemi, delving into the upcoming Le Mans 24 Hours and Canadian GP. The trio dissects these thrilling events along with Formula E discussions, sparking intrigue about how quickly Max Verstappen could adapt to the challenges of Le Mans.
