Max Verstappen explica como os pilotos virtuais podem se tornar profissionais no automobilismo.

The theme of sim-racers competing in real-world motorsport races has always been the subject of heated discussions. Christian Horner and Max Verstappen (Via: Imago) Racing has always been an elite and exclusive sport. Even though it is a dream, not everyone has the means to pursue it. Even Formula 1 drivers have shared with us on several occasions the sacrifices their parents had to make for them to continue racing. Since participating in virtual races does not require a significant financial commitment, this is where it becomes relevant.

Digital sports have been gaining popularity in recent years. , the current world champion and owner of his own team, is striving to provide more opportunities for skilled sim racers. Verstappen is creating these chances for talented sim racers to experience driving real racing cars on real race tracks.

When discussing this issue with the media, Verstappen stated,

Despite Verstappen’s belief that sim racers can compete in real-world motorsport races, there has always been much debate about whether sim racers can actually race in the physical world. According to various critics, sim racers tend to lose touch with reality, as in real-life races, a small mistake can have significant consequences. It’s not as simple as clicking a button to restart the race.

Undoubtedly, Max Verstappen, the Red Bull star and current world champion, has proven to be unbeatable in recent years. The Dutchman shows no signs of slowing down, having already won three world titles. He has started the current season where he left off last year. However, according to, this will lead to increasing problems at Red Bull.

Hill believes that Red Bull will become complacent after their continuous victories and will be reluctant to make any changes. Verstappen has already won the first two races of the 2024 season and it seems like he won’t stop until he secures another world title. Red Bull has been dominating the sport since the introduction of the current F1 regulations and, considering Hill’s comments, it will be intriguing to see what the future holds for the Milton Keynes-based team.
