Vida tem sido ótima desde,” Ex-líder da equipe Haas e celebridade do Drive to Survive, Guenther Steiner, expressa gratidão após deixar a equipe de F1 americana.

Guenther Steiner has been on the sidelines since stepping down as Team Principal at Haas. He played a significant role at the Haas F1 team for almost a decade, but was let go due to disagreements with the team owner. Recently, Steiner spoke about how he has been feeling since leaving Haas.

The 58-year-old man mentioned that he has been enjoying life after leaving the team. It is the first time in almost ten years that he doesn’t have to focus on his responsibilities in F1. Steiner has taken the past few weeks to reflect and admits that he stayed at Haas for too long.

Steiner emphasized that stepping away from the demanding work environment allows a person to see things more clearly. He admitted that he was in denial while leading the American team and thought he could achieve his goals, but that proved to be unrealistic. There were reports suggesting that Steiner may have been fired due to his interest in buying shares of the team.

During Steiner’s tenure, Haas initially progressed, finishing fifth in the championship in 2018. However, the team has faced difficulties since then and fallen behind in the midfield of F1. Steiner believes that, with the current state of Haas, the team could aim for seventh or eighth place in the standings. However, he is no longer interested in fighting for just a few points every weekend.

Instead, Steiner wants to compete for podiums. He made it clear that he is not interested in taking on a long-term project to move a team to the front of the pack. Steiner expressed his desire to return to Formula 1 in the future, but only if the right project is being executed correctly.

Although Steiner continues to be seen in the paddock this year as a TV commentator, he seems to be enjoying his break from the busy life of an F1 team boss. It is possible that he will remain off the grid in the coming months, although fans would like to see him return to a prominent role in a different team soon.
