Ben Sulayem Contemplates Overturning Swearing Penalties: FIA’s Shocking Rule Revamp Underway

In a shocking turn of events, Mohammed Ben Sulayem is on the brink of securing a second term as the FIA president, thanks to a surge of major backing from key players in the motorsport world.

The race for the presidency is heating up as affiliated clubs rally behind the incumbent president, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, who is vying for re-election. With the support of influential figures like Fabiana Ecclestone, the vice-president for sport at FIA, Ben Sulayem’s chances have skyrocketed.

A letter of unwavering support for Ben Sulayem has surfaced, signed by a multitude of member clubs from the Americas, praising his decisive leadership and remarkable turnaround of the FIA during his tenure. The letter urges Ben Sulayem to continue his pioneering work by seeking re-election at the upcoming assembly in Uzbekistan.

The path to the presidency is paved with strategic nominations and global support, a process that plays a pivotal role in determining the future leader of motorsport’s governing body. With backing from the Americas solidifying Ben Sulayem’s position, the prospect of a successful challenge against him is dwindling rapidly.

While Carlos Sainz Snr looms as a potential contender, his official nomination remains unconfirmed, leaving Ben Sulayem with a clear path to a second term. On the other hand, David Richards stands as a vocal critic of the current leadership, adding an element of intrigue to the upcoming election.

As the motorsport world braces for a potentially historic re-election, all eyes are on Mohammed Ben Sulayem as he navigates the treacherous waters of FIA politics to secure his legacy as a trailblazing leader. Stay tuned for more updates on this riveting saga as it unfolds.
