Formula 1 fans are in for a wild ride as the Spanish Grand Prix approaches, with Williams stirring up controversy by labeling their own supporters as ‘crazy’. The upcoming race at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is causing a stir among passionate Spanish fans, eager to see their homegrown talents, Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz, take on the competition.

The Williams team is making headlines not just for their racing performance but also for their candid remarks towards their dedicated fans. As fans eagerly lined up to catch a glimpse of Sainz at a fan zone event, Williams took to social media to playfully call their supporters ‘crazy’. This unexpected move has sparked a debate among fans and critics alike.

Sainz, who joined Williams this season after a shakeup at Ferrari, has been steadily improving on the track. Despite a slow start with only one point in the first four races, the Spanish driver has shown progress and consistency, regularly securing a spot in the top 10. His teammate, Alex Albon, has also been impressing with consistent point-scoring performances, surpassing his previous records at Williams.

In a surprising turn of events, the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona is set to undergo a name change, with Madrid’s Barajas street circuit taking over as the official host from 2026 onwards. This shift marks the end of an era for the iconic Spanish GP at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

As the excitement builds for the Spanish Grand Prix, fans are eagerly anticipating a thrilling race weekend filled with surprises and fierce competition on the track. Stay tuned for more updates and drama as the racing action unfolds at one of Formula 1’s most iconic circuits.
