In a shocking turn of events, Ferrari has allegedly made a bold attempt to poach Christian Horner from Red Bull Racing amidst the tumultuous start of the Formula 1 season.

Rumors suggest that the prancing horse approached Red Bull’s team principal, Christian Horner, seeking to lure him away from the team he has led for over two decades. Speculations were rife just a couple of weeks ago that Horner was on the verge of leaving Red Bull, with his future hanging by a thread dependent on the team’s performance with the RB21 car.

The Austrian Grand Prix seemed to solidify Horner’s position, with Max Verstappen clinching victory and reinstating faith in the team. However, the Monaco Grand Prix stirred up new controversy as Horner’s name was linked to Ferrari, raising eyebrows across the paddock.

Reports from Bild indicate that Ferrari made an informal approach to Horner, especially considering the lackluster results in the early part of the season which cast doubt on Frédéric Vasseur’s leadership at Ferrari. The alleged contact took place a few weeks ago as Ferrari sought to gauge Horner’s interest, knowing that his contract with Red Bull runs until 2026. Despite the tempting offer, Horner is reportedly finding it hard to envision a future away from Red Bull, especially with new ventures on the horizon in collaboration with Ford.

The Formula 1 community is now abuzz with speculation and intrigue as the saga unfolds, leaving fans and experts alike pondering the potential shake-up in the top echelons of the sport. Stay tuned for more updates as the rivalry between Red Bull and Ferrari takes an unexpected twist with Horner caught in the middle of it all.
