Lando Norris pede modificações nos carros de F1 devido a preocupações significativas com a saúde.

Lando Norris has been dealing with chronic back pain, and the introduction of the new car in the 2022 Formula 1 season may have exacerbated his condition. The updated regulations have made the cars more challenging and physically demanding for the drivers. The aerodynamic issues of the cars and the roughness of the straight roads have caused significant problems for the drivers. In light of this, Norris, who drives for McLaren, has called for changes in the car regulations to prioritize the safety of the current grid.

The frequent occurrence of aerodynamic issues has raised serious concerns about the health of the drivers during the first part of the 2022 season. Recently, Norris was unable to participate in an event in Saudi Arabia due to appendicitis. This incident sparked a conversation about the health risks faced by drivers, as Norris became the second driver in two years to face a medical issue. Norris believes that the previous generation of Formula 1 cars was safer because it had fewer issues. He is not sure of the exact number of drivers facing difficulties due to the 2022 regulations, but reports of drivers experiencing health problems, such as back issues caused by the constant swaying of the car, support Norris’s argument for changes in the sport.

During the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Lando Norris initially seemed to have an advantage over his competitors. However, it was later discovered that he had jumped the start, giving him an unfair advantage. Surprisingly, he did not receive any penalty for this action. If he had been penalized, his race would have become more challenging. The 24-year-old driver tried to cheat by starting a fraction of a second before the lights went out in Jeddah, which usually results in an obvious penalty.

Despite Norris’s actions, he was spared penalties by the FIA regulations Article 48.1a), which was not activated at that time. Overall, McLaren has not had a good start to the season, as their car does not have the necessary speed to secure top positions on the grid in Q3.
