Automóvel mais roubado no Japão é o Toyota Land Cruiser

Car thieves do not always have the same preferences, depending on the region of the globe. In Europe, German brands are the most coveted, but in Japan, the Japanese General Insurance Association revealed that the most stolen model is the Toyota Land Cruiser.

The Toyota SUV leads the list of the most coveted models by car thieves in the land of the rising sun, followed by two other models from the Japanese manufacturer, the Alphard and the Prius.

In the list of the most stolen models in Japan compiled by the General Insurance Association, Toyota has 7 models in the top 10, along with two Lexus models and an unspecified Mercedes model.

This newly revealed Top 10 represents 55.7% of the total car thefts in Japan. The 2597 cases reported in 2023 are slightly lower than the 2656 vehicles stolen in 2022, but higher than the 2425 cases recorded in 2021, according to the General Insurance Association.
