The Kia EV3 received the highest safety rating after rigorous testing by Euro NCAP, the leading independent safety testing organization in Europe.
The EV3 with the DriveWise package performed well during the testing phase, achieving 83% in adult occupant protection, while in child occupant protection it recorded a rating of 84%.
In terms of protection for more vulnerable road users, it achieved 78%, and regarding assistance and safety systems, the Kia EV3 also recorded a rating of 78%.
It is worth noting that the Kia EV3 equipped with the DriveWise package utilizes a set of cameras and radar to detect dangerous situations and assist the driver in performing a series of maneuvers safely.
Euro NCAP awarded the EV3 the maximum score in the side impact test for adult occupant protection, and the organization revealed that the vehicle provided good protection in all critical areas for six and ten-year-old passengers in the same test.
The independent safety testing organization in Europe also revealed that it tested the base version of the Kia EV3, without the reinforcement of the DriveWise safety pack, which achieved a final rating of four stars, obtaining 83% in adult protection, 84% in child protection, 77% regarding the protection of more vulnerable road users, and 67% in terms of assistance and safety systems.
