In a shocking turn of events, a major IndyCar announcement has sent shockwaves through the racing world, leading to speculation about the future of Team Penske and its drivers.

Following the departure of IndyCar Team President Tim Cindric as the Managing Director and General Manager of Team Penske, questions have arisen about the implications for the team’s lineup. The sudden move came after a significant technical violation was uncovered during the 2025 Indianapolis 500 qualifying rounds. Illegal modifications to the rear of cars driven by Josef Newgarden and Will Power were discovered, prompting officials to take action as such alterations are strictly prohibited under IndyCar regulations due to their potential to enhance performance unfairly. As a result, both cars were disqualified from Fast 12 and penalized with a $200,000 fine.

Renowned motorsports journalist Bob Pockrass broke the news, stating, “Team Penske announced today the departures of INDYCAR Team President, Tim Cindric, INDYCAR Managing Director, Ron Ruzewski and INDYCAR General Manager Kyle Moyer from the organization.”

Amidst the turmoil, Bubba Wallace’s spotter, Freddie Kraft, weighed in on the situation, particularly addressing the future of Austin Cindric, son of the departed Tim Cindric and a driver for Team Penske. Kraft swiftly dismissed any insinuations linking the incident to NASCAR Cup Series driver Bubba Wallace, emphasizing that those suggesting such connections were not paying attention to the races this season.

Known for his longstanding role as a NASCAR spotter, Kraft has been a fixture in the racing scene for over 15 years, notably guiding Bubba Wallace throughout his career. Starting his journey at Riverhead Raceway on Long Island, Kraft worked his way up the ranks, eventually becoming a prominent figure in NASCAR media with his appearances on the popular “Door Bumper Clear Podcast.”

In another controversial development, Kraft recently made headlines for his remarks on the Joey Logano and Christopher Bell incident during the NASCAR All-Star Race. Criticizing Logano’s reaction to Bell’s aggressive pass, Kraft labeled Logano’s comments as hypocritical, highlighting the competitive nature of racing and the need to seize opportunities on the track.

As tensions run high in the world of motorsports, Kraft’s insights and commentary continue to provide valuable perspectives on the ever-evolving landscape of racing competition.
