Ferrari Pushes Forward with SF-25 Development Despite Disappointing Results

In a surprising move, Ferrari is ramping up development on its SF-25 Formula 1 car despite its championship hopes taking a hit early in the season. The iconic Italian team has failed to deliver on its pre-season expectations, with only one podium finish so far.

Team principal Fred Vasseur revealed that Ferrari is focusing on improving the car’s mechanical aspects to salvage the remainder of the season. One major issue plaguing the SF-25 is the inability to maintain the desired ride height, leading to performance setbacks on the track.

Vasseur emphasized the team’s commitment to staying competitive, stating, “If you want to improve, you need to stay competitors and you need to stay into the fight.” Ferrari believes that pushing development on the current car is essential to keep the team motivated and engaged in the championship battle.

Despite the upcoming 2026 regulations, Ferrari is determined to make necessary adjustments to the SF-25 to maximize performance for the remaining races. Vasseur highlighted the significance of continuous improvement to ensure that the team remains in contention throughout the season.

With a renewed focus on enhancing the SF-25’s mechanical components, Ferrari is aiming to overcome its current challenges and make a strong push towards the front of the grid. The team’s unwavering dedication to success sets the stage for an intense battle in the races ahead.

As Ferrari pushes forward with its development plans, the motorsport world eagerly anticipates how these changes will impact the team’s performance on the track. Stay tuned for more updates as Ferrari races towards redemption in the Formula 1 championship.
