Cadillac Racing Unveils Striking Livery for Le Mans Debut

Cadillac is gearing up for an epic debut at the iconic Le Mans 24 Hours race with the unveiling of Wayne Taylor Racing’s vibrant blue livery for their #101 V-Series.R. The prestigious Detroit-based automaker, a subsidiary of General Motors, is set to make a grand entrance at the 93rd edition of the Le Mans endurance race on 14-15 June.

Joining forces with JOTA, Cadillac will be showcasing a fleet of Cadillacs at the highly anticipated event. The lineup includes a pair of Hypercars from JOTA’s participation in the FIA World Endurance Championship, alongside regulars from the IMSA SportsCar Championship – the four-time Daytona 24 Hours champions WTR, and Action Express Racing, rounding up the impressive field of 21 Hypercar entries.

The #101 WTR Cadillac V-Series.R will be piloted by a stellar trio of drivers – Jordan Taylor, Ricky Taylor, and Filipe Albuquerque, promising an electrifying performance on the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe.

Speaking about the partnership, Tony Esposito, Strategic Global Alliance Manager at Mobil 1, expressed his excitement: “Le Mans is the ultimate proving ground in motorsport, and we’re proud to support Cadillac’s ambitions through our continued technical partnership. This new livery reflects what our work with Cadillac is all about – performance, passion, and pushing boundaries.”

John Roth, Vice President, Global Cadillac, echoed the sentiment, stating, “Mobil 1 and Cadillac Racing are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of performance and innovation in motorsport. We’re excited to welcome the Mobil 1 brand as the primary sponsor of the #101 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.”

With an impressive track record in IMSA events such as the 12 Hours of Sebring and Petit Le Mans, Wayne Taylor Racing is now setting its sights on conquering the historic Le Mans circuit. The team is eager to add the prestige of Le Mans to their list of accomplishments, as they prepare to take on the challenge amidst a competitive 62-car grid.

As the anticipation builds for Cadillac’s Le Mans debut, motorsport enthusiasts worldwide are eagerly awaiting the moment when the #101 Cadillac V-Series.R hits the track in its striking new livery.
