With a length of 228 meters, a width of 37.8 meters, and a capacity for 9,500 vehicles, the “Anji Ansheng” has already set sail for its inaugural journey to Europe with 9,500 cars on board.

The SAIC Group, the owner of MG, chartered the largest cargo ship in the world, measuring 228 meters in length, 37.8 meters in width, and capable of transporting 9,500 cars, built by Anji Logistics, a subsidiary of the SAIC Group, for the transportation of MG models to the European market.
The “Anji Ansheng” was designed to reduce environmental impact and is the most efficient and lowest carbon-emitting vessel of its kind in the world. The vessel incorporates energy-saving technology, intelligent low-carbon systems, and a design that allows for the future incorporation of methanol, laying the groundwork for achieving carbon neutrality in the future.
