Toyota has a solid reputation for building its cars, but in the U.S. the brand is facing an issue with the Tundra pickup, having been forced to recall 443,000 units of the model.
The issue concerns the Tundra’s reverse light, which allows moisture to enter, causing the lights to stop functioning. The failure affects both the combustion engine versions and the hybrid variants of models manufactured between 2022 and 2025, which now need to go to the workshop for free repairs.
Toyota U.S. has already announced that owners of the affected Tundra models will be called to the workshop for this recall program starting next month in July.
