The designer Ian Callum, who has in his resume the creation of several iconic models from Aston Martin and Jaguar, has now decided to modernize the classic Jaguar E-Type.

To this end, Ian Callum’s design studio created a set of computer-generated sketches of what could be a “restomod,” to be produced if there are interested parties in bringing this E-Type from the virtual to the real world.
Aesthetically, the exterior features a minimalist matte gray finish, with all details removed. The lighting signature is equipped with redesigned headlights and taillights using LED technology for a more modern look, complemented by wheels with a futuristic appearance that reflect the spirit of the original wire wheels.

There is also a note about a dual exhaust system, which suggests that this design was not intended for a silent model, but rather for a “restomod” with a six-cylinder inline engine or a V12 with a five-speed manual transmission.
Inside, the spirit of the original Jaguar E-Type is preserved, with some modern details, such as the discrete digital displays in the center, which complement the analog gauges on the instrument panel, a steering wheel, and some physical switches that evoke the original model.
