Toyota will unveil the new generation of the RAV4 next Wednesday, May 21, however, the Japanese brand has just revealed new images of the model ahead of its debut.

The photos released by Toyota show the LED taillights spanning the entire width of the RAV4 and a front bumper with a generously sized air intake.

Additionally, the revealed images show square wheel arches, a new set of six-spoke alloy wheels, as well as a rear spoiler placed at the end of the roof.

The new generation of the RAV4, which will replace the current generation that has been on sale since 2018, is expected to maintain the TNGA-K platform, which will allow for the use of a “full hybrid” and plug-in system. It is also anticipated that the new generation of the RAV4 may introduce a 100% electric variant.
