Ferrari Boss Slams Critics and Urges Patience with Lewis Hamilton’s Performance in Formula 1

Ferrari’s team principal, Fred Vasseur, is firing back at critics who have been quick to judge Lewis Hamilton’s early performances with the team in Formula 1. Despite a less-than-perfect start to his time at Ferrari, Vasseur is adamant that the overreactions need to stop immediately.

Hamilton’s transition to the iconic red of Ferrari has not been as seamless as many had hoped, with both him and teammate Charles Leclerc struggling to extract the full potential from the temperamental SF-25 car. While Hamilton managed a stellar Sprint win in China, his adaptation to the car has been a work in progress, especially compared to Leclerc.

Following a challenging qualifying session at Imola, where Hamilton narrowly missed out on Q3, the seven-time F1 champion showcased his grit with a remarkable recovery drive to finish in fourth place. Vasseur is now calling for a more measured approach when evaluating Hamilton’s performances.

Vasseur emphasized the importance of patience, stating, “Every single driver is working hard with the team to improve. We need to stay calm and trust the process. Hamilton did a very good job in China and today, and we are making progress step by step.”

Despite the setbacks, Hamilton remains focused on the bigger picture, looking ahead to the 2026 reset of F1 regulations. He acknowledged that this season is about laying the groundwork for future success at Ferrari, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and teamwork.

As the rivalry in Formula 1 heats up, all eyes will be on Hamilton and Ferrari as they strive to find their winning formula amidst the pressure and high expectations. Will Hamilton prove his critics wrong and lead Ferrari to glory? Only time will tell.

Stay tuned for more updates on Lewis Hamilton’s journey with Ferrari in the exhilarating world of Formula 1.
