Fernando Alonso, the F1 star, is setting his sights high after an impressive qualifying round at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. Despite not scoring any points in 2025 yet, Alonso is determined to clinch victory in the season opener in Australia next year. With ambitions sky-high, Alonso is fueled by the team’s long-term goals, including significant developments like working with renowned engineer Adrian Newey, a new wind tunnel, and a partnership with Honda engines.

“I’m here to win, so I’m happy to be fifth tomorrow, to score some points, but I want to be in Australia next year and win the race,” Alonso boldly declared to the media.

Looking ahead to the race in Imola, Alonso anticipates a strategic battle with limited overtaking opportunities, acknowledging the possibility of losing positions due to race pace. Nonetheless, he remains hopeful of finally getting on the scoreboard this year.

“I think it will be a tactical race, as always in Imola – hard to overtake,” he noted. “The minimum number of pit stops for everyone because you can’t overtake on track. We will try to have a good start with the strategy and see the pace. I don’t think it’s as good as fifth, so I’m ready to lose some positions, but hopefully not too many.”

Alonso’s determination and focus on future victories are palpable, making him a force to be reckoned with on the F1 circuit. Fans and critics alike eagerly await his performance in the upcoming races, as he strives to make his mark and climb to the top of the podium once again.
