Putting a supercar side by side with a top motorcycle is always an adrenaline rush for racing enthusiasts.
This time, Lamborghini decided to challenge a Ducati Panigale V4, a pinnacle of two-wheeled performance, with its second model from the High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) range, the Temerario. This vehicle combines a completely new twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors, providing a total power output of 920 hp. The twin-turbo V8 was designed and developed from the ground up in Sant’Agata Bolognese and is the first and only engine in a production supercar capable of reaching 10,000 rpm.
Its performance is impressive, announcing an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of over 340 km/h.
On the other hand, the new Panigale V4 is the seventh generation of Ducati superbikes, marking a significant evolutionary leap thanks to an integrated approach between aerodynamics and design, a completely revised chassis, and innovative electronic solutions such as the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) and the Race eCBS. The latter, combined with the 216 hp output of the V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine, derived from MotoGP, allows for top-notch performance.

In this adrenaline-filled race on the asphalt of Imola, Italy, the Temerario demonstrated the effectiveness of its launch control, which allows the driver to explore the maximum potential right from the start.
