In a shocking turn of events, the FIA has delivered its verdict on the McLaren MCL39 following a rigorous investigation post the Miami Grand Prix. The Formula 1 governing body confirmed that Oscar Piastri’s McLaren has been deemed compliant with the F1 2025 technical regulations, putting an end to speculations and scrutiny.

The FIA’s Formula 1 technical delegate, Jo Bauer, oversaw the thorough inspection and stated, “All inspected components were found to be in conformance with the 2025 Formula One Technical Regulations.” This declaration comes after the McLaren car underwent intense physical inspections, specifically focusing on the wheel bodywork assemblies to ensure adherence to the strict regulations set forth by the sport.

But the scrutiny didn’t stop there. Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari, another top contender at the Miami Grand Prix, was also subjected to random inspections post-race. The SF-25 passed all the stringent tests with flying colors, further solidifying the integrity of the competition.

Bauer elucidated on the inspection process for the Ferrari, highlighting that various components were scrutinized for compliance with the technical regulations. From the steering wheel assembly to the clutch operating device, every detail was meticulously checked to maintain the fairness and competitiveness of Formula 1.

With both McLaren and Ferrari coming out clean from the intense scrutiny by the FIA, the teams can now focus on the upcoming races with a renewed sense of confidence and determination. The verdict not only upholds the integrity of the sport but also showcases the commitment of teams to compete fairly within the boundaries of the regulations.

As the FIA concludes its investigation and delivers a clear verdict, the world of Formula 1 can now shift its focus back to the thrilling races and intense rivalries on the track.
