Rede Mobi.E regista 665 mil carregamentos em abril

The public charging network, Mobi.E, announced that it recorded its best month ever in April, with around 665,000 charges, representing a 48% increase compared to the same month last year. These were carried out by over 115,500 distinct users, a number never before reached in a single month, and a 52% increase compared to the same period last year.

“On average, there were 22,176 charges per day, the highest average ever, which represents an increase compared to March, when an average of 21,602 charges was recorded,” Mobi.E stated in a press release.

In the first four months of the year, the number of charges has already surpassed 2.5 million, a 48% increase compared to the same period in 2024. “These charges were made by around 200,000 distinct users, an increase of 52% compared to the first four months of last year,”.

At the end of April, the public charging network had 6,193 stations, corresponding to 11,517 points (outlets that can be charging simultaneously). Of these, more than 2,360 were fast or ultra-fast charging stations (with a power greater than 22 kW), representing 38.1% of the total network.

Another important fact is that, as of April 30, the Mobi.E network provided more than 382,922 kW of power, exceeding the requirements set by the European regulation for the creation of an infrastructure for alternative fuels (AFIR), which stipulates that there should be a power of 1.3 kW for every 100% electric vehicle and 0.8 kW for every plug-in hybrid vehicle.

“In terms of environmental savings, in the fourth month of 2025, the use of the Mobi.E network prevented the emission of more than 11,800 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. It would take about 195,000 trees in an urban environment, aged 10 years, to absorb the same amount of CO2”.

According to Mobi.E’s calculations, there are currently an average of 94 charging stations per 100 kilometers of road and 127 charging stations per 100,000 inhabitants.
