Martin Brundle alerta Ferrari sobre a possível ‘disrupção’ que Lewis Hamilton poderia causar em Maranello.

Lewis Hamilton has been practicing his profession with Mercedes since the 2013 season of the main category of motorsport.

Before the start of the season, it was revealed that another driver would join Ferrari in 2025. This news caused a stir in the paddock and raised interesting questions about the current stability within the team. Recently, the Sky Sports commentator expressed his thoughts on the possible changes in the prancing horse.

The combination of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz is widely considered one of the best in the current F1 grid. Leclerc is especially known for his impressive qualifying speed, while the Spaniard consistently scores points for the team. However, with the news that Hamilton will join Ferrari, the latter will have to make room for him. This change raises the question of how the team dynamics will be affected when Hamilton becomes part of the team.

When discussing the impending issue, Brundle highlighted the key question that must be asked:

The former F1 driver explained that Sainz brought stability to the team, with Leclerc leading the charge and the Spaniard always ready to seize an opportunity if it arose. However, with the inevitable change, the team boss must consider where the team will be heading when the Englishman joins next year. This poses a difficult decision for Vasseur in terms of giving preference to Leclerc or Hamilton.

Bahrain was an unforgettable race for Leclerc, while his teammate outperformed him with an impressive podium finish. This performance change led to discussions in the paddock about whether letting go of Sainz was the right decision.

The F1 commentator shared her opinion on the matter:

Schiff explained that Sainz’s team is always ready to take full advantage of any situation. On the other hand, Leclerc needs the car setup to be exactly the way he likes it in order for him to perform at his best.

Given these circumstances, speculations have arisen that Vasseur may have let go of the wrong driver, who brings stability and consistency to the team. However, only time will tell how this change will affect the team dynamics and who will have the advantage at Ferrari.
