Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc are not holding back as they demand internal talks at Ferrari following a frustrating Miami Grand Prix. The two drivers are pushing for discussions to address the team’s lack of pace and controversial team orders that left both of them dissatisfied.

Hamilton, finishing in P8 and Leclerc in P7 in Miami, expressed his dismay over Ferrari’s decision to swap positions twice during the race, hindering their performance. The British driver voiced his frustration over team radio, criticizing the handling of the situation. Despite the tense moments during the race, Hamilton clarified that his remarks were taken out of context and emphasized the need for internal dialogue to improve the team’s performance.

Similarly, Leclerc echoed Hamilton’s sentiments, highlighting the need for the team to analyze and rectify the poor decisions made during the Grand Prix. The Monegasque driver emphasized the importance of learning from the mistakes and striving for better outcomes in future races.

Ferrari Team Principal, Fred Vasseur, acknowledged the drivers’ frustrations and commended their professionalism in adhering to team orders. Vasseur explained the strategic decisions behind the driver swaps and recognized the challenges faced by the team throughout the weekend.

Despite a podium finish for Hamilton in the Miami Sprint race, Ferrari’s overall performance fell short of expectations, with Leclerc’s crash and underwhelming results in the Grand Prix. Vasseur admitted that Ferrari failed to deliver the desired outcome, emphasizing the need for improvement in qualifying to be more competitive against top teams.

The internal discussions at Ferrari are crucial for addressing the issues raised by Hamilton and Leclerc, as the team aims to bounce back stronger in the upcoming races. Stay tuned for more updates on Ferrari’s quest for success in the fiercely competitive world of Formula 1.
