Ross Chastain expressa frustração com penalidade ‘inaceitável’ na pista em Las Vegas.

The Trackhouse driver was unable to secure consecutive wins for his team after a challenging battle at the front. The competition in Las Vegas seemed quite monotonous for most of the time, as [Driver’s Name] dominated the entire weekend. In contrast, [Another Driver’s Name] finished in fourth place and even led the race at one point. However, the Trackhouse driver’s penalty for speeding on pit road proved to be the main culprit in ruining his chances, and the 31-year-old driver now reflected on his unfortunate circumstances.

Larson exerted his dominance in the first two stages of the race, leading for approximately 180 of the 230 laps. However, a late-race yellow flag caused by a collision made Chastain quickly pit and only replace two of his tires with new ones. This bold strategic move initially propelled him ahead of the pack, but it ultimately proved to be his downfall as well.

The Florida native acknowledged that he was aware of the speed of his car, especially considering that his teammate had triumphed in the previous race in Atlanta, which culminated in an exciting photo finish. Furthermore, the 31-year-old driver remained in contention for a top spot. However, due to an unfortunate speeding penalty, Chastain had no choice but to employ daring strategies in an attempt to secure the win. Unfortunately, as we all know, this endeavor did not go as planned, and the Trackhouse driver ended up finishing in fourth place.

Chastain had high ambitions for the race in Sin City, but his performance in qualifying left much to be desired, as he only managed to secure 20th place overall. To make matters worse, he was subsequently disqualified from the session when the sticker on his car began peeling off and flying through the air. According to the rules, no part of the car should be hanging in this way. Furthermore, NASCAR deemed the flickering of the sticker as an unauthorized adjustment, resulting in Chastain being relegated to the back of the pack.

In addition, [Driver’s Name] and [Another Driver’s Name] also faced disqualifications along with Chastain. Consequently, all drivers will be looking forward to the next race in Phoenix. Subsequently, Chastain will be striving to regain his winning form after a winless season last year.
