Lewis Hamilton Slams Ferrari’s Decisions at Miami Grand Prix

In a shocking turn of events at the F1 2025 Miami Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton openly criticized Ferrari’s leadership for their questionable choices during the race weekend. The seven-time Formula 1 world champion expressed his dismay after Ferrari opted not to use an extra set of fresh soft tires in qualifying, a decision that ultimately led to Hamilton starting 12th on the grid.

Despite a challenging Sprint Qualifying session, Hamilton managed to secure third place in the Sprint Race, offering a glimmer of hope for a strong weekend performance. However, any hopes were dashed during the qualifying session as Ferrari struggled to match the pace of their competitors, with Hamilton raising concerns about the team’s strategic decisions.

Hamilton, visibly frustrated, questioned Ferrari’s choice of not utilizing the available tires, stating, “It doesn’t make sense when you’re struggling so much not to put two new sets on or utilize those sets.” The veteran driver emphasized the importance of making the right decisions in such a competitive field.

The British driver’s disappointment was evident as he spoke about the team’s ongoing struggles, citing issues with brakes, instability, and overall lack of speed compared to their rivals. Despite his individual efforts, Hamilton acknowledged the collective challenges faced by Ferrari and expressed determination to keep pushing forward.

As Ferrari finds themselves falling behind McLaren, Red Bull, and even Williams in terms of performance, Hamilton’s public criticism adds fuel to the growing concerns within the team. With the pressure mounting, Ferrari will need to address their shortcomings swiftly to avoid further setbacks in the upcoming races.

The Miami Grand Prix served as a wake-up call for Ferrari, prompting internal discussions and reflections on their decision-making processes. As Hamilton’s remarks reverberate through the paddock, all eyes are on Ferrari’s leadership to see how they respond to this public scrutiny and whether they can turn the tide in their favor.

In the cutthroat world of Formula 1, every decision counts, and Ferrari must rise to the occasion if they intend to reclaim their position among the elite teams. With Hamilton’s criticism echoing loudly, the Italian outfit faces a pivotal moment in their quest for success in the relentless pursuit of championship glory.
