In a shocking turn of events at the GP Miami Sprint, Alex Albon and Liam Lawson were hit with penalties that drastically altered the race standings. Albon faced a five-second penalty for exceeding the maximum speed under the Safety Car, causing him to plummet from fourth to 12th place. This misfortune opened the door for Kimi Antonelli to secure a point in his debut from pole position.

Adding to the chaos, Liam Lawson received a similar five-second penalty for colliding with Fernando Alonso, resulting in his drop from sixth place to the back of the pack. This incident propelled Pierre Gasly to eighth place, the final position eligible for scoring points.

Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc received a reprimand for persisting to drive his significantly damaged Ferrari for four more turns after hitting the wall before the Sprint race.

The revised Sprint race order is as follows:
1) Lando Norris, McLaren
2) Oscar Piastri, McLaren
3) Lewis Hamilton, Ferrari
4) George Russell, Mercedes
5) Lance Stroll, Aston Martin
6) Yuki Tsunoda, Red Bull
7) Kimi Antonelli, Mercedes
8) Pierre Gasly, Alpine

The GP Miami Sprint proved to be a rollercoaster of penalties and position changes, keeping fans on the edge of their seats until the very end.
