Charles Leclerc expressed sheer frustration as he slammed Ferrari’s performance at the Miami Grand Prix, labeling it as “bad” after a lackluster qualifying session that left him in sixth place. The Ferrari driver did not mince his words, highlighting the team’s struggle with pace throughout the weekend, despite some initial hopes of improvement following adjustments to the car’s setup.

Leclerc’s disappointment was palpable as he bemoaned the lack of competitiveness, particularly in comparison to their rivals. The Monegasque driver acknowledged the team’s deficiencies in maintaining speed through traction zones, especially after observing the GPS data. “It’s bad,” Leclerc bluntly stated, reflecting on his underwhelming sprint qualifying session. While he remained determined to make the best of the situation in the race, he conceded that significant improvements were needed to enhance Ferrari’s performance.

His teammate, Lewis Hamilton, echoed similar sentiments, noting the challenges faced by the team in extracting speed from the car. Despite recognizing some positive aspects of the session, Hamilton emphasized the overarching issue of pace that Ferrari grappled with during qualifying. The seven-time world champion emphasized the need for continuous work and adjustments to narrow the performance gap to their competitors.

As Ferrari grapples with their pace woes, both Leclerc and Hamilton are gearing up to tackle the race day with a sense of urgency and determination. With the competition heating up in Miami, the pressure is on for Ferrari to deliver a stronger performance and showcase their true potential on the track. Stay tuned for the latest updates and analysis from the F1 Miami Grand Prix as the drivers gear up for a thrilling showdown on race day.
