Ultimately, it was Tsunoda who failed to make the cut after a lock-up into Turn 17 compromised his lap. The session also saw Lance Stroll, Doohan, and Bortoleto bowing out, much to Doohan’s dismay who expressed frustration over a pit lane mishap with his teammate Gasly.
As the dust settled, George Russell emerged as the fastest driver, followed closely by Antonelli and Alex Albon.
