Verschoor desqualificado da corrida Sprint da F2, Hauger leva a vitória.

In the last edition of the FIA Formula 2 Championship, a shocking turn of events occurred during the Sprint Race in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The tabloid format race saw Richard Verschoor from Trident and Roman Stanek disqualified due to a technical violation. According to the F2 report, both cars were found to have an incorrect throttle pedal progression map installed, which violated Article 8.2.6 of the Technical Regulations. As a result, Verschoor’s victory was revoked and new winners emerged. Dennis Hauger from MP Motorsport claimed first place, followed by Paul Aron from Hitech. Enzo Fittipaldi from Van Amersfoort Racing secured a spot on the podium in third, while Zane Maloney’s impressive race, starting from 15th on the grid, put him in fourth. The points-scoring positions were completed by Jak Crawford from DAMS, Andrea Antonelli from Prema, Josep Maria Martí from Campos Racing, and Kush Maini from Invicta, who finished in eighth place. Stanek’s disqualification cost him the tenth position, allowing Gabriel Bortoleto, a McLaren development driver, to enter the new top-10. With the adjusted results, Maloney now leads the driver standings with 41 points, followed by Aron with 28 points. Martí holds the third position with 26 points, while Hauger, the new race winner, sits in fourth with 16 points. Verschoor and Stanek were left without points.
