Max Verstappen’s Remarkable Skill Equals €10 Million Car Development: Shocking Revelation from F1 Boss

Max Verstappen: The €10 Million Speed Machine

In a shocking revelation, Max Verstappen’s former F1 team boss claims that the Dutch driver possesses a speed equivalent to €10 million worth of car development. Despite not having the fastest car on the grid this season, Verstappen’s relentless drive has kept him just 12 points behind championship leader Oscar Piastri after the first five races of the F1 2025 season.

Franz Tost, who was at the helm of the Toro Rosso squad when Verstappen made his debut in Formula 1, has always been vocal about his admiration for Verstappen’s exceptional talents. Tost believes that Verstappen’s ability to be “simply three-tenths faster per lap than anyone else” can make up for any shortcomings in the car he drives. According to Tost, this advantage is equivalent to millions of euros’ worth of car development, far surpassing the impact of any single upgrade.

Despite speculation that Verstappen could potentially move to a rival team like Mercedes or Aston Martin, the Dutch driver has downplayed any rumors of a switch. With a contract that runs until F1 2028, Verstappen’s future in Red Bull remains uncertain as other teams are eager to secure his services.

As Red Bull gears up to introduce a major update to the car at Imola, all eyes are on Verstappen and his decision regarding his long-term commitment to the team. While Mercedes seems to be the frontrunner if Verstappen decides to make a move, Aston Martin could also be an enticing option for the talented driver. The intense competition to sign Verstappen underscores his exceptional skill and value in the world of Formula 1.

With his unmatched speed and unwavering determination, Max Verstappen continues to be a force to be reckoned with in the world of motorsport. Stay tuned as the drama unfolds, and the battle for Verstappen’s allegiance heats up among the top F1 teams vying for his signature.
