Citroën has announced the opening of orders for the Ami Buggy, which will start next month in May, and this new version joins the range of the renewed quadricycle that has revolutionized micromobility and won over more than 65,000 customers.
Inspired by the Ami Buggy Vision concept, the Buggy, previously reserved for limited editions, now allows everyone to enjoy their journeys with an adventurous spirit aboard a vehicle with a lot of character and open to the outside world.

Like the concept, the Ami Buggy comes without doors, which are replaced by black metal frames mounted on hinges, enhancing the feeling of contact with the outside world. However, Citroën reminds us that door covers with zippers are available as accessories to isolate occupants from the exterior. These can be easily rolled up and stored when not in use. The retractable roof is protected by a cover that allows for driving with the wind in your hair.

Adding even more character, the Ami Buggy features a black spoiler at the rear for a sporty touch, is equipped with 14″ steel wheels with a gold finish, complemented by a black wheel center adorned with a Chevron from the French brand. The logo has also received a new yellow hue.

The new Ami Buggy is available in a spicier version, the Ami Buggy Palmeira, which comes in a refreshing yellow pack. The interior equipment includes three colorful storage boxes, a colorful bag hook, a set of colorful floor mats, colorful door nets, a central separation net, as well as a smartphone holder, and the My Connect Box including My Ami Play to connect a smartphone to the vehicle.
On the outside, this version features a set of stickers to place on the rear window and another on the wheel arches. This color pack is completed by Andy, the Ami Buggy’s mascot, placed on the instrument panel.

The Ami Buggy’s motorization has not changed and is the same as that used by the refreshed Ami, therefore utilizing an electric motor that delivers a power of 8.2 hp, powered by a 5.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is placed horizontally under the dashboard to maximize space in the cabin.

The refreshed Ami and the Ami Buggy will be available for order in the national market and other European markets starting from May 6, with prices starting at €7,990 for the Ami, which rises to €8,390 for versions with the color pack. As for the Ami Buggy, it will be available at a starting price of €9,590, and the Buggy Palmeira starting at €9,990.
