Jos Verstappen, 52 years old, took a stand against Christian Horner, Red Bull’s team principal, and expressed his concerns at last week’s Bahrain Grand Prix. Verstappen stated that if Horner were to remain in charge, the dominant team could face significant internal conflicts. These comments followed an investigation conducted by an independent lawyer, which cleared Horner of any misconduct allegations made by a staff member. Verstappen’s statements raised fears that the star driver may consider other options for the 2025 season.

Mercedes, the former champion, currently has a vacancy due to Lewis Hamilton, seven-time F1 world champion, signing with Ferrari for the 2025 season. This unexpected move surprised many in the F1 community. Speaking to reporters in Jeddah, Verstappen mentioned this surprising transfer and emphasized that life, both on and off the track, is unpredictable. He stated that one can never fully anticipate the events that may occur or the factors that may influence decisions.

Despite speculation about his future, Verstappen remains calm and content with his current team. He expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance and sees no reason to leave. This weekend, Verstappen aims to make up for his defeat to his Red Bull Racing teammate, Sergio Perez, during last year’s Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. He emphasized that his main focus is on driving and believes that should be the team’s top priority. Verstappen believes that distractions and ongoing controversies are detrimental to the team’s success.

When asked if there are circumstances in which he would not race for Red Bull next year, Verstappen replied that it would require extreme and unlikely circumstances. He stated that such a scenario is not the goal of anyone involved.

Last season, Red Bull achieved an impressive record, winning 21 out of 22 races with the most dominant car in F1 history. Verstappen, who claimed 19 of those victories, started the current campaign with a remarkable achievement, securing pole position, the fastest lap, and leading every lap of the race.

Verstappen emphasized that his father, a former F1 driver who was once a teammate of Michael Schumacher, is an honest and straightforward person. He revealed that he maintains a close relationship with his father and they communicate daily. However, Verstappen did not ask if his father regretted making controversial comments.

Recent reports in various media outlets suggested that Jos Verstappen, Max’s father, was seen in a long meeting with Toto Wolff, the head of the Mercedes F1 team. This led to speculation that Max Verstappen could potentially join Mercedes to replace Lewis Hamilton, who is set to join Ferrari.

Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton secured another impressive victory at the Monaco Grand Prix this Sunday. With a flawless performance, Hamilton dominated the race from start to finish, leaving his competitors behind.

The race started with Hamilton in pole position, and he did not disappoint. The British driver showcased his skill and speed by maintaining the lead throughout the race. Even under pressure from Max Verstappen, Hamilton did not make any mistakes and crossed the finish line in first place.

This victory marks Hamilton’s fourth consecutive win this season and puts him as the undisputed leader of the championship. With his exceptional performance, the Mercedes driver is getting closer and closer to clinching his eighth world title.

In addition to Hamilton, another highlight of the race was Sergio Perez, who finished in second place. The Mexican has shown great improvement since the beginning of the season and has proven to be a consistent and competitive driver.

Verstappen, who started in second position, had to settle for third place. Despite not being able to surpass Hamilton, the Dutchman showed good form and remains a real threat to the British driver.

With the result of the Monaco Grand Prix, Hamilton extends his lead in the championship and solidifies himself as the favorite for the title. We will have to wait for the next races to see if any of his competitors will be able to challenge him.
