Langdon Makes History, Prock Dominates: Dramatic Wins at NHRA 4-Wide Nationals

In a thrilling display of speed and skill, Langdon, Prock, Glenn, and Smith emerged victorious at the action-packed 4-Wide Nationals in Charlotte.

Shawn Langdon made history by clinching the 1,000th Top Fuel race in NHRA history at zMAX Dragway. Langdon’s impressive victory saw him outshine top contenders like Tony Stewart and reigning world champion Antron Brown. With a stunning final quad performance, Langdon clocked a remarkable 3.714s at 330.63mph, securing his 21st career win in style.

Not to be outdone, Austin Prock dominated the Funny Car category, blazing through the competition with a massive run of 3.870s at 332.92mph. Prock’s relentless pursuit of excellence earned him his second consecutive win, solidifying his position as a force to be reckoned with in NHRA racing.

Meanwhile, Dallas Glenn showcased his prowess in Pro Stock, delivering a near-perfect performance to claim victory with a lightning-fast run of 6.495s at 212.69mph. Glenn’s remarkable win marked the 200th victory for KB Titan Racing, further establishing his place among the elite in the Pro Stock category.

In the Pro Stock Motorcycle division, Matt Smith emerged triumphant, clinching his first victory of the season with a stellar run of 6.736s at 202.91mph. Smith’s strategic prowess and unwavering determination propelled him to his 42nd career win, cementing his status as a formidable competitor in the world of drag racing.

As the dust settles on the 4-Wide Nationals, Langdon, Prock, Glenn, and Smith stand tall as champions, their remarkable performances setting the stage for an electrifying season of NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing. With adrenaline-pumping action and fierce rivalries on full display, the stakes are higher than ever as the competition heats up on the drag strip.
