Renovado VW T-Cross em Portugal desde €23 490
The recently updated T-Cross saw changes to its exterior design, including new LED headlights and taillights now standard, along with an optional narrow LED light bar that runs across the grille, and new bumpers. VW revealed that three new colors have been added to the existing palette for the bodywork: Grape Yellow, Clear Blue, and Kings Red. Inside, the smallest SUV in VW’s lineup features a new dashboard with higher-quality surfaces and a new generation of infotainment systems, including a 9.2” screen compatible with Apple Car Play and Android Auto wirelessly, and a 10” digital instrument panel. With its proven functionality concept, the interior of the updated T-Cross stands out for optimizing interior space, easily accommodating five occupants. The versatility of the longitudinal adjustment of the rear seat by 140 mm allows the cabin to be tailored to the user’s needs.

Regarding space, the trunk offers a variable capacity between 385 and 455 liters. By folding down the rear seat (in a 60:40 ratio), a flat loading area is created with a volume that can reach 1281 liters.

Furthermore, the updated T-Cross is available in four trim levels: T-Cross, Urban, and two top-of-the-range versions, Style (more elegant) and R-Line (sporty inspired).

Regarding engines, the T-Cross has not yet embraced the electrified trend, but it shouldn’t be long before it does. Therefore, it offers two combustion engines: the entry-level version equipped with a 1.0 TSI engine with 95 hp and a five-speed manual gearbox, and a more powerful version with 115 hp, and a six-speed manual gearbox or with an option for a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DSG).

VW has further increased the load capacity of the T-Cross through the trailer coupling system, going from 55 to 75 kg. These additional 20 kg increase the maximum load that can be vertically applied to the removable spherical coupling (optional). As an SUV, the New T-Cross thus offers greater flexibility for towing a trailer, something particularly important, for example, for the transport of electric bicycles.

In terms of prices, VW revealed that the revamped T-Cross starts at €23,490 for the entry-level version with 95 hp.

All T-Cross prices:

Version – Engine – Gearbox – Price

T-Cross – 1.0 TSI 95 hp – 5-speed Manual – €23,490

Urban – 1.0 TSI 95 hp – 5-speed Manual – €25,962

Urban – 1.0 TSI 115 hp – 6-speed Manual – €28,194

Urban – 1.0 TSI 115 hp – 7-speed Auto (DSG) – €30,184

Style – 1.0 TSI 115 hp – 7-speed Auto (DSG) – €32,838
